Description

This is the final call to collect in the Ananas series of Serigraphs with the OG, 2016, Gold Glitter, and Pink colourway. Only 6 remain in this much sought-after colourway so once they are gone… they will be gone.

The pineapple {Queen Of The Fruits] has always been associated with prestige and luxury due to its exotic appearance. It first appeared in Britain in 1668, gaining notoriety when Charles II used it as part of a public relations opportunity.

It was later distributed from the Netherlands to English gardeners in 1719 and French in 1730. In England, the first pineapple was grown in Buckinghamshire, and a huge “pineapple stove’ to heat the plants was built at the Chelsea Physic Garden in 1723.

They are often associated as a symbol of hospitality, fertility, abundance, and good luck.
